The latex of the Amazonian trees of the genus Croton, especially Croton lechleri (called as “sangre de drago or grado”), is used traditionally since ancient times and in modern times has been studied and proven medicinal properties and healing, for the content of alkaloid Taspinar, and as antiviral, for the content of the principle SP-303, one antiviral oligomeric proanthocyanidin action.
Origin of the raw material: Our dragon´s blood comes from the croton lechleri trees with management plans in the Amazon regions of Iquitos and Pucallpa-Peru, our resin meets all national environmental permits.
