Myrrh resin is a natural aromatic gum resin obtained by making incisions in the bark of the Commiphora myrrha tree. Once dried, it forms irregular granules with a characteristic reddish-brown color and a warm, balsamic aroma. Myrrh has been valued since ancient times for its aromatic, perfumery and traditional uses.
